Dr. Nicholas Helmich, D.C.
Dr. Helmich graduated with highest honors from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA. He also received his Bachelor of Science degree from Palmer College. While meeting his Pre-Chiropractic requirements, Dr. Helmich studied Biology and Athletic Training at Buena Vista University. Following graduation in 2004 he founded Helmich Chiropractic Clinic in Fairmont, MN. In 2008, he purchased Moreau Chiropractic in Estherville, IA. In 2010 Helmich Chiropractic expanded to Graettinger, IA with the purchase of The Graettinger Clinic of Chiropractic. Dr. Helmich is a member of the Palmer Alumni Association. He is involved with the Estherville and Graettinger communities as a member of the Estherville Chamber of Commerce, Graettinger Business Club, Knights of Columbus, Rotary Club, Treasurer of the Sons of the American Legion, and is a Emmet County Kinship Mentor. As an avid sports fan he enjoys volunteering with the ELC and ILCC athletic teams. In his spare time Dr. Helmich enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, camping, and attending sporting events.
A native of Graettinger, IA, Dr. Helmich now resides in Estherville. His wife, Anita, is the office manager at Helmich Chiropractic and is a first grade reading teacher at Demoney Elementary in Estherville. They have three children, Ella, Ava & Isaac.
